Kierstyn Bishop

Executive Assistant to the CEO

Kierstyn brings years of combined administrative, advocacy, non-profit and corporate experience to CSI, where she serves as the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer. Before joining CSI, Kierstyn worked at CareerSource Central Florida as the Executive Assistant to the CEO and COO.

As a former Office Manager for a trauma center, she was responsible for arranging 24/7 coverage for on-call counselors to accompany victims at hospital triage appointments. During her time there, she trained and served as a crisis counselor herself for several years. 

Kierstyn co-founded Unity Players Inc., a 501c3 that produces theatrical performances to raise money for local children’s charities. Here, she oversaw recruitment and rehearsals for both volunteer performers and necessary technical personnel. She also liaised with partner organizations and oversaw logistics, such as sets, costumes, and props.  

Kierstyn received her BA degree in Communications and Media Studies from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. In her personal time, Kierstyn volunteers for the iPrevail International Foundation, helping arrange mentoring and services for local foster group homes. She is passionate about advocacy and has a personal connection to the work of The Clean Slate Initiative, with a family member recently becoming a returning citizen in Michigan.
