Vice President of Marketing & Communications

Stacey Ferguson is Vice-President of Marketing and Communications at The Clean Slate Initiative. She is responsible for the organization’s strategic marketing, communications, earned and social media, partnerships, and outreach strategy in this role. She is responsible for increasing brand awareness, audience engagement, and visibility to support mission growth. 

Stacey brings over 15 years of experience to CSI as an award-winning digital marketing and communications executive, community builder, brand strategist, and startup founder. Her bold career path includes extensive experience in the areas of integrated marketing and communications, digital media, content creation, influencer marketing, strategic planning, sponsorships, partnerships, and advertising law. She is dedicated to mission-driven work and centering social impact and has led marketing and communications teams at TIME’S UP, Genius Guild, and The Cru.

Stacey has been a sought-after influencer coach, podcast guest, digital brand strategist, content creator, public speaker, and co-founder and CEO of the Be Blogalicious community and conferences celebrating diversity among women influencers and the b-Link Influencer Marketing Network. She is also a technology and advertising attorney by trade, having practiced in both the private and public sectors.

She has served as an advisory board member of Being Black At School, The ONE Campaign’s Girls and Women Advisory Board, and as a founding member of the Influencer Marketing Association.

Stacey lives just outside of Baltimore, Maryland and has three teenagers. Among other joys, she enjoys galvanizing movements, the sunshine, all things pop culture, and Thai food.
